Seasons Change = Versatility
Seasons Change = Versatility
Good morning Sunshine,
The seasons are changing. The air turns cool, the leaves change and the wind is fierce! As with every year this time, one has to prepare for the colder months. With this concept in mind, this should be the basis for being versatile in your own life. Either kick things (your normal routine) up a notch or change altogether. I have to make the necessary changes, you are not alone in this. Bottom line: Life for you can remain the same or you can change it - it is up to you. I'm not saying that you have to change what is working for you, tweak it to be better. What is not working, about face 180 degrees soldier!
There is a theory that I try to use from time to time that is in constant rotation in my life. I believe in what I call the Preventive Maintenance Theory. Everyone has one, its just that when you set it on the shelf of your mind, it doesn't work quite right. (:\) The Preventive Maintenance Theory (PMT), is just what the words mean: (P) preventive - stop before starting/awareness; (M) maintenance - maintain or the ability to keep going regardless, stay afloat; (T) theory - a hunch or a gut feeling that just might work. And all together creates a versatile person (somewhat or the makings of one)!
Being versatile is just a part of life. Life is in a constant flux of change, so why not join in when it (life) calls for it? "Change is good!" - MONKEY from The Lion King. Don't make excuse for not changing because there are a million and one reasons that pop up like weeds in your mind saying NO! or DON'T DO IT! NO is not always the answer. YES and MAYBE can tag along in the decision making process as well. You decide but be versatile in your decisions.
Bottom line: don't make the word "change" always out to be the bad guy. Don't make the word NO always a constant and consistent word used in life. Missing out on life is the NO-NO that is NOT wanted. "Situations and circumstances warrant change: my attitude determines them both." (Phenom Piccoli)
