In a NY Minute...


Good morning Sunshine!


     Each day, beginning and ending, plays out differently. I do my best to be optimistic about everything. All things can change in a New York minute. If you are standing in the balance of a decision, or you received some heart breaking news or life just appears to deal you the worst hand ever, within microseconds, all of it can or will change. 
      I believe that bad news is an illusion. Its job is to throw you off track from your destination. By all means, it does a great job because sometimes, it can take us years to get back on track or the detour was so long that we have lost direction on the journey. In retrospect, I'm happy some detours were made and the off the beaten path roads helped put life in perspective on my way to my destination.
      A few things that I have learned along the way that has helped me change my position in a NY minute:
  1. Bad news receieved. OK. Deal with the issue head on, but don't dwell there. Pick up the pieces and move on. Easier said than done, yes. Even easier when done and moving on.
  2. Organize your life. Take one piece at a time and go through with a fine tooth comb. Take your time to get it done right. That way, you don't have to go back to it.
  3. Invest in the opportunity of a lifetime. YOU! Take time for self indulgences. It can be candy or a movie or a nap. Whatever, make sure you indulge/invest in YOU.
    Happier is what happier does on a daily basis. Makes sense? Maybe, maybe not. Whatever the case may be for you my friend, apply these tips to change your position in a NY minute!

Good evening Sunshines! Different huh? Well, I think now I will be changing things up a little bit. I am confident that you will enjoy what I have to say. Lately, as I continue to travel on this journey, life has my MEH! What I mean by that is things are not going the way as planned. No short cuts, but more like the long way to reach the golden ring. It is frustrating and  depressing to know that you are so close but it feels that you are so far away. Even when the SIGHS, meditation, motivation and inspiration seem not to work...just get quiet. Celebrate the Small Victories

 Good morning Lovies and Sunshines!      I am thankful and grateful for being able to type this post out. No, nothing has happened and I am not going thru a crisis (lol) but I am going to celebrate the small victories. I am back in the swing of things with what I enjoy, love and am passionate about. I celebrate that small victory for myself. My son and others have reminded me to celebrate the small victories. Let’s have that conversation, that will change the nation, creating a vibration o f love, peace and harmony. In fact, if we have that conversation, that will bring on the creation of more change and oppression, more connection than transgression, with the lesser of aggression and the move of more love and affection. We are what we speak. Who we are to be and where we are divinely placed are the answers we should seek. As you move forward in your journey d on’t forget to have that conversation, that will change the nation, creating a vibration of love peace and harmony.
