Patience Pending

Patience Pending....

 GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE,

I wanted to start today's blog with a quote from the true king of hip-hop (hands down):

"Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside while still alive. Never surrender." -Tupac Amaru Shakur

Is that not inspiring family? To me, that makes me motivated to keep moving, keep on keeping on with the good fight.  Don't let your dreams or your life die inside you. That can encompass a lot of things but for the sake of time, we will keep it simple. As stated earlier in another post, you are a creative being. So live and create! I know that there is a statement about virtue. It is understood that patience is a virtue, but the question is,  how long do we have to wait? On the opposite side ask yourself this question: Have you ever considered that you  are not quite ready yet? Prematurely, yes, you are ready but, maturity comes with experience and time. It may just take a little more time until you are completely ready, just maybe? Patience is pending (and wearing thin at the same time - this is indeed understandable).
Patience has plagued the human race since the beginning of time. Its like a manifestation of an unfinished piece of art. It is a learned concept that can be constantly worked on but never quite finished to perfection.Once the concept is mastered though, everything falls in to place. My dear friend, I have not yet mastered this concept - I have a long way to go! (smile) Don't feel like you are alone on this journey.
The patience quest begins with the idea of looking forward to the end before it gets here.  You have heard of the 4Ts: "These things take time". Unfortunately, this statement is universal for hurry up and wait. Don't fret my pet. As the old adage goes, "good things come to those who wait." We can not rush, punish, fix or create time. It is a natural entity that waits for no one.
Here is where we endure and then we use patience - to our advantage.  For example, a child looks at the window of the pet shop and falls in love with an animal. "Aw mommy," the child pleads, "I just gotta have'em, I just gotta!" The anticipation for the pet is like ants in the pants - uncontrollable. Mommy says, "Dear, just wait a minute..." The child hears nothing else but  heartfelt disappointment. That's where you are wrong. Waiting does not mean NO, just not right now. As I asked earlier, are you (completely) ready? Have you prepared for? Is this the right fit? A myriad of check points filter through as questions that go unanswered but yet you "jump ship" prematurely and in the end, you are even more disappointed than before. REWIND....All that (drama and unnecessary action) can be avoided with pending patience. Explore your expectations. Use this time to your advantage. No one ever said you had to and do nothing...GET UP! GET TO IT! GET GOING! with pending patience. Sooner than you think you will arrive at your destination.

Be blessed family!

Indeed,
Phenom Piccoli
